Bell Ringer: What is the mass of dog that is accelerating at 10 m/s/s with a force of 30 N.
Objectives:
Develop an understanding of the concept of frame of reference (reference pt). Describe how to determine speed and make calculations for speed. Compare speed and velocity. Describe how to determine acceleration and make calculations for linear acceleration. Relate velocity to acceleration. Describe what is meant by force and how to calculate force. Discuss friction as a force.

Activity: Note sheets for Ch 1 (M), Section 2.
Exit Slip: Find the weight of the dog from our bell ringer.
