Objectives: Describe forces in relation to mass and acceleration. Explain how friction acts as an unbalanced force. Describe how forces change the speed or direction of an object.Bell Ringer: Calculate the speed of a 3 kg bowling ball that moves 20 m in 4 sec. Calculate the bowling ball’s acceleration if it started from rest.Activity: Note sheet on Friction as an unbalanced force.

Exit Slip: Calculate the force of the bowling ball.

If the bowling ball’s force was reduced to 2 N, calculate the frictional force present.

TEST is Tuesday.
